Those 39.7 seconds in Morgantown

Here’s a high definition video of the final 39.7 seconds in the University of Louisville basketball team’s shocking 72-70 loss to West Virginia in Morgantown. Nothing in this video to change any opinions about the call against Preston Knowles. The players collide and the call is arbitrary, and could have gone either way. Probably shouldn’t have been made at all. Warning: There’s a lot of Doris Burke analysis and a couple of timeouts. Makes one badly want a rematch Thursday.

Funny how you say “final 39 seconds” and the video is seven minutes long!

No rematch but I will gladly take a Marquette team playing their third game in three days against a Pitino press.
