The University of Louisville has been selected as the No. 1 seed in the NCAA Soccer Tournament. Maryland, Akron and North Carolina are seeded second, third and fourth, respectively.

The Big East Conference leads all conferences with seven teams in the tournament field, including Providence, Notre Dame, UConn, Georgetown, South Florida, and West Virginia. The Atlantic Coast and Big Ten conference have five participants.

All first-round games will be played Thursday, November 18, while all second-round action will take place Sunday, November 21. The Final Four will be in Santa Barbara, Calif., Dec. 10-12.

UofL will open at home Sunday against the winner of Thursday’s game involving East Tennessee State at College of Charleston to be played at Charleston. Here’s the first round bracket for the Cards.

Charleston, South Carolina
First round – East Tennessee State at College of Charleston
Second round – Winner at No. 1 Louisville
Providence, Rhode Island
First round – St. Peter’s at Providence
Second round – Winner at No. 16 Ohio State
