Not done with Freedom Hall.

Next up at the Hall is the Derby Classic, April 10th, featuring three future University of Louisville commitments and another highly regarded recruit.

Guards Russ Smith and Elisha Justice will suit up for the black team. Smith, a 6-foot-2 shooting guard out of South Kent Prep in Connecticut, is a prolific scorer and has great vertical leaping ability. Justice, a 5-foot-11 guard from Shelby Valley High Cchool in Pikeville, will walk on. He recently led his squad to the Kentucky state high school tournament title.

Justin Coleman, a 6-foot-5 forward from West Virginia who will sign with Louisville, will also play on the Black squad. Coleman is the No. 4 rated small forward by Rivals and is expected to have a major role in Rick Pitino’s plans. Playing with Coleman will be 6-foot-10 center Gorgui Dieng, from Huntington Prep in West Virginia, who has Louisville at the top of his college list.

The Night of the Future Stars will be held the evening before the all-star game, at Bellarmine. The slam-dunk, three-point shooting and two-on-two contests are free if you have a ticket to the Saturday game.
