Need a diversion until the Louisville-California basketball game? Get outside, away from the tube.

Undefeated Tom Royse (3-0) will be the pitcher as the seventh-ranked University of Louisville baseball team begins a three-game series with Ball State at 3 p.m. Friday at Jim Patterson Stadium. The Cards are off to a 15-1 start.

Adam Duvall leads Louisville at the plate with a .413 batting average, followed by Stewart Ijames at .375 and Phil Wunderlich at .373. Duvall and Wunderlich also have six home runs.

Actually, more  a destination than a diversion.
