The University of Louisville has been selected to host one of 16 regional NCAA baseball tournaments, starting Friday.

Other tournament hosts (and tournament selections) include: Arizona State, Arkansas, Auburn , Cal State Fullerton, Coastal Carolina, Connecticut, Florida,  Georgia Tech, Miami (Fla.), Oklahoma,  South Carolina, Texas, TCU, UCLA, and Virginia.

The remaining at-large teams, top-eight national seeds, first-round regional pairings and site assignments will be announced Monday at 12:30 p.m. EST.

Make a note of this, so you’re not scrambling Friday:

Pre-ordered tickets will be available for pickup Thursday at the ticket office, located across Floyd Street from Gate 2 of Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium. The office will be open 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. that day.

Update: Tickets for a Monday game are included in the ticket package. If the Monday game is necessary, the cost of tickets will be added to your credit card.

  1. UL picked as the #7 seed and will host Super Regional if they make it out of first weekend!

  2. The email I got said the Monday ticket would be included in your ticket package at pickup, but only charged if that game was needed. Is that not what you heard?
