No sweep for the University of Louisville baseball team after dropping a 19-15 slugfest at St. John’s on Mother’s Day but the news is not all bad for the Cards.

League-leading South Florida lost two out of three games at Notre Dame over the weekend while Louisville was winning two of three.

Coach Dan McDonnell’s Cards will be only 1.5 games out of first place with South Florida coming to Jim Patterson Stadium for a three-game series, starting  Thursday at 6 p.m., the final week of the regular season.
