Editor’s Note: Vote for junior, please.

If you’ve been with us here at Card Game, you probably already know that we covered Big East Media Day, courtesy of Volvo S60. Now Volvo is sponsoring a contest dubbed “The Biggest Fan of the Big East.”

I was among the “digital influencers” from 16 Big East cities who went to NYC and Madison Square Garden for the preliminary festivities. We will be treated to the use of a Volvo S60 for a weekend and a regular season home game (would you believe the UK game?), and possibly more games at season’s end.  We are to cover some Louisville games via the blogosphere, using Twitter, Facebook, Youtube, etc.

Support our efforts to provide unique coverage of the University of Louisville athletics and by going to MyBigEastVolvo and voting for Steve Springer, the Card Game and Louisville rep.

Thanks in advance for your vote. Villanova and St. John’s have jumped out to the lead but it’s still way early.

Update: Overnight, U of L fans have moved Steve into the No. 1 position. You can vote once a day.

  1. You got my vote, Steve. But honestly, who is the bigger Louisville fan? You or the observer? Good luck in the contest.

    1. He might have me beat by the slimmest of margins, but only because he’s older.

He didn’t start cheering for UofL until well into his childhood, I was a Card at birth.

And I’m grooming four kids to wear the red and black, he’s only procreated one. 🙂

      1. Yeah, but he converted this UK fan to the red and black, don’t forget. So that’s two, and then there is your grandmother (when she can tear herself away from the Cubs and Everyone Loves Raymond. GO CARDS!

      2. “Well, sir, you see, sir,” as U.S. Senator Everett Dirksen from Illinois used to say, I do everything I can to promote U of L athletics. That’s all one can ask.
