With those booming bats having cooled, Andrew Clark may have returned from injury just in time.

The University of Louisville first baseman had the game-winning hit for the second game in a row Tuesday. His two-run home run blast in the top of the ninth inning provided the punch the Cards needed to put Indiana away 5-4 at Bloomington. He had also provided the go-ahead runs in a win over UConn on Saturday.

Dan McDonnell’s troops begin a three-game home series against Big East foe Villanova on Thursday at 6 p.m. at Jim Patterson Stadium.
