The University of Louisville baseball team is in the championship game of the American Athletic Conference baseball tournament Sunday.

The eighth-seeded Tigers, a long shot at best, the least likely to succeed, lending a hand to their long time rivals.

Memphis doing it the hard way, defeating South Florida without its coach who had been booted for protesting a strike called by the home plate umpire.  The Tigers would win on a two-out single in the bottom of the ninth inning, claiming a 2-1 win over the Bulls.

UofL, having defeated Rutgers 9-3 earlier Saturday, will face Houston at Noon on ESPNU.

A nice parting gift from Memphis.
