Jeff Walz has never exhibited any signs of being an introvert when it comes to communicating with officials during University of Louisville women’s basketball games.  He gets in the ear of official Tina Napier, providing her plenty of advice during Saturday’s 62-58 win over Villanova before 10,680 fans at the KFC Yum Center. U of L was led by Shoni Schimmel with 18 points, improving its won-lost record to 17-4. Asia Taylor was big, too, scoring 12 of her 14 points in the second half. (Photo copyright (c) 2012, CSWorks)

  1. Asia Taylor played the best 8 minutes of her career at the end of that game. Not to mention hitting a 7 foot shot which may be the longest of her career.

Just as Shelly was the key a couple of games ago, Asia was yesterday. She was terrific.
