Pittsburgh will be a load for the University of Louisville men’s basketball team, nobody doubts that. But the Lady Cards will have their hands full today as well.

The seventh-ranked Lady Cards put their 17-1 overall record and 4-0 Big East mark on the line at Georgetown University at 4 p.m. (WKRD Radio – 790). The Hoyas are 12-4, 2-1, with all 12 wins coming at home. Their losses have all come on the road to some good teams — Loyola Marymount, Virginia Commonwealth, North Carolina State and Notre Dame.

Senior wing Karee Houlette averages 14 point a game for the balanced Hoyas, who play 10-11 players 10 minutes or more every game. The Hoyas rely on depth and defense to force opponents into an average of 21.1 turnovers a game.
