A sad story for everyone involved.
Having failed to delay the inevitable, Karen Sypher was to report to the federal prison in Marianna, Fla., Wednesday where she will reside for the next seven years. Undoubtedly, her attorneys will continue to file appeals on her behalf, so we haven’t heard the last of her for a while.
Sypher apparently is unable to comprehend that she was never the victim in the extortion attempt of Rick Pitino. Whether or not one sympathizes with Pitino for allowing himself to be seduced, one has to respect the man for preventing her from profiting from her actions.
