The word is out that Jordan Campbell is officially on his way to Louisville from Southern California, transferring from the problematic USC program.

However, Campbell may still have a few challenges to overcome before he puts on a University of Louisville football uniform. He has been granted permission to practice with the team but not cleared to play in games.

Campbell, a junior linebacker, played in six games at USC last season, making six tackles and three tackle assists. The numbers indicate he may not be the cure-all for which some fans are hoping at linebacker, but his presence would help shore up the defensive depth.

The suspense is not over. Just yet.

  1. Awesome news Charlie! We hope the addition of Campbell & Dorsey will help off set the D line – and maybe push our number of Wins up- I feel Strong’s CARDS are going to surprise some folks.

  2. Bravo! Excellent news! One more step to go and he’ll begin wrecking havoc for the Cardinal defense.

  3. This is great news for Coach Strong’s first defense. Maybe this will offset the news of the Harris injury.

So what is the scoop on Dorsey now?

    1. Rumor is that good news on Dorsey being cleared to practice/play should come this weekend, if not sooner.
