Jordan Campbell stands just outside the defensive huddle on the sideline, his right hand resting on the shoulder of fellow linebacker Preston Brown during pre-game warm ups at Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium.

He feels like a part of this team but he’s not a member. Not yet. Campbell wants back on the field, in the action, making a difference for University of Louisville football.

Campbell knows he can make a significant contribution … right out of the gate. But the transfer linebacker from USC continues to play the waiting game, awaiting an end to the paper shuffling, the official word.

“We’re almost there,” he said, when asked Saturday about the suspense. “I expect to be cleared in a couple of days.”

That would be a good thing.

  1. Hey Charlie and gang,

Hell in the Hall photog, Matt Wickham, captured two of the finest shots of Doug Beaumont’s first TD– as well as 180+ other pics. One of which was Flicker’s Grid-iron Shot of the Day….

As always we share in the Card Universe–ck ’em out!

  2. I hope Mr. Campbell is correct. It would be nice to have Jason contributing on the field.

Has anyone heard anything regarding the status of Mr. Dorsey or Mr. Lamb?
