Jeff Walz continues to be a ball of fire when it comes to recruiting talent for his University of Louisville women’s basketball team. Sizzling.

Landing two commitments in one day on Wednesday, bringing more speed, scoring and size to future UofL rosters.

The first coming from Jazmine Jones, a 6-foot guard from Jacksonville, Fla., widely considered among the top 20 players in the class of 2016.

At Florida A&M High School, Jones has already been credited with 2,000 career points, 1,000 career rebounds, 500 steals and 500 assists. Her team has won three of the last four Florida 2-A state championships.

The second from Bionca Durham, a 6-foot-4 post player from Imhotep Charter School in Philadelphia, a program that has won two consecutive city titles.

She’s currently not ranked, going largely unnoticed by the recruiting services and having played basketball for only three seasons.

They join 6-foot-4 forward Kylee Shook and 5-foot-9 guard Sydney Zambrotta in the 2016 class.

Walz still has another spot to fill, and is actively pursuing Lauren Cox, a 6-foot-4 forward from Flower Mound, Texas, who is the No. 1 prospect in the class.
