Let’s talk University of Louisville Cardinal football … in depth.

First, Quincy University. It is the cutest little university you ever saw. Very old Franciscan school. Located in West Central Illinois, in a town of about 45,000. Peaceful. Two  excellent ice cream parlors and an outstanding bakery. Cute little stadium (ummm … maybe 2,500), NAIA football. No marching band. Cute little football team. .

What’s that got to do with Cardinal football? Listen up. Little teeny NAIA Quincy U just knocked off our next opponent in overtime Thursday night at jampacked Indiana State Memorial Stadium (7,216) by a score of 26-20. Yeah, big-time football.

That means….uh… if the Cards lose to Indiana State….

Had enough?

  1. The Sycamores did jump out to a 17-0 lead in that game. Who knows why they couldn’t score but 3 points in the remaining three quarters. I chalk it up to a terrible football team that will have absolutely no chance in PJCS on Saturday.

Quincy goes to SouthEast Missouri next… to shock the world again?
