Common sense wins for once.

Even at the NCAA headquarters.

Louisville freshman Gorgui Dieng, all six feet, 10 inches of him, has been cleared by the NCAA and is immediately eligible to practice and play.

Dieng, who played last season at Huntington Prep in West Virginia, was declared ineligible due to academics just three weeks ago. Louisville appealed the decision and has won a reversal.

Imagine that.

  1. You can say that again, cbcard. Somebody obviously wasn’t taking their job seriously the first time around. I think most of us were surprised because of wrong that was done to Lasege. That was a travesty.

  2. I am having “double imagine that” trouble. It’s hard to believe they got it right. It’s even harder to believe they did it in three weeks.
