The University of Louisville has been selected as the No. 7 seed in the NCAA Baseball Tournament, and will be eligible to host a Super Regional if it survives this week’s Regional at Jim Patterson Field.

Other teams in the Louisville Regional include Vanderbilt, St. Louis and Illinois State. U of L will play St. Louis in its opening game Friday at 6 p.m.

Another U of L-Vandy matchup would prove interesting. They met a few weeks ago, with Vandy prevailing 11-10 in 17 innings.

Here’s a link to the NCAA brackets.
