PGA Tour logoImage via WikipediaThe reporter at TC Palm apparently took the weekend off, leaving followers of Derek Fathauer pretty much in the dark as to how he was doing on Saturday and Sunday. Not a bad day Saturday considering where he was but not a good day either, with the U of L golfer finishing seven strokes above par in the prestigious U.S. Open. He was four over par on Sunday.

He wound up with scores of 73, 73, 78 and 75 on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, respectively — or a final score of 299 and 15 strokes over par for the classic. Not a bad start if he plans to continue on the PGA Tour.
