The posts could be a little erratic over the next few days, with all the preparations that go into these kind of events. Getting married, my son Steve is, this week, to a beautiful girl by the name of Casey.  Steve Springer

Steve Springer was a Card fan when he was born, his dad sending out birth  announcements proclaiming in 1975 that he would lead the University of Louisville to its first NCAA championship. Denny couldn’t wait, however, winning the first in 1980.

Steve did witness firsthand the second NCAA basketball championship win in 1986, traded baseball caps with Howard Schnellenberger in 1990, saw the U of L football teams win bowl games over Michigan State, Brigham Young and Boise State, and attended dozens of football and basketball games over the years. He will always be a UofL fan.

He graduated cum laude in the spring from Murray State University with the highest grade point average in his major. He has accepted a teaching position in Tennessee, and will continue to reside in Murray.

Way to go, Steve.

  1. Looks like you did a good job raising that boy, Charlie. You’re very blessed and so is Steve. Congrats to all!
