DaVante-Parker

DaVante Parker has passed the half way point to possibly to setting an all-time collegiate record in consecutive games with touchdown receptions, having scored at least once during the past 10 games.

If the streak continues through the next seven games, Parker would surpass the mark currently held by former Pittsburgh wide receiver Larry Fizgerald, who scored in 18 consecutive games during the 2012 and 2013 seasons. If successful this season, Parker could put the record out of reach next year, that is if he doesn’t decide to go in the NFL draft.

The Ballard High School product is in fourth place in school history with 22 career touchdown receptions. He had six touchdowns as a freshman, 10 as a sophomore, and six this season.

The old UofL record of five consecutive games was held by Deion Branch, who made TD receptions in the last four games of 2000 and the first in 2001.
