Only 700 tickets will be sold for the signing event for the Maker’s Mark Charlie Strong bottle set for Wednesday, Aug. 1 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Mellwood Arts and Event Center. There are 8,400 of the limited edition available.

Tickets for the events are $1 at and can be purchased at this site but you can’t buy them until Thursday, July 26th.

Each ticket is good to have two bottles signed.  A portion of the proceeds will help to underwrite an “exciting new project” at U of L to be announced next week.

    1. Yes. Erroring out on my after trying to continue from the shipping and billing info page.

  1. Do you know what time they will be selling tickets on the site? Like is it 12:01 tonight?

      1. Just checked on the louisville.edu website, and it said they will start selling them at 9:00am.

  2. At this point it’s going to be really tough finding this bottle anywhere in the city. But i’ve read they are also being sold in Bullitt,Shelby,Meade,Henry, and Spencer County. If you can find a small liquor store off the beaten path you may get lucky. I’ve heard they are on ebay now but im afraid to check the prices. Best of luck to anyone who hasn’t got one yet. GO CARDS!

    1. I bought two bottles yesterday (July 24th) at Quick Stop Liquors on Blue Lick Road in Okalona. Not sure how many they had left.

  3. Liquor Barn at Springhurst had a whole skid Friday morning at 9am but they were limiting one per customer. I went back at 3pm and there was no restiction so I bought a 2nd. There was probably 10 cases left at the time.

  4. Called my local Highlands “dispensary” in late this Friday morning. They were already out. More had been requested, but they could not say if more would be delivered to them.

I work in west Louisville. So, at lunch, I called one of the stores on Cane Run. The clerck had one case (of which I promptly went to buy four) and thought they may have one more case. I suggest folks look at the Yellow Pages under Liquor Stores and call those in the west, SW and south sections of town for availability.
