  1. The man strikes me as too much of a class act to skip out on the place that gave him a long-overdue chance to head his own program. Here’s betting he’s going to stay and “dance with the one what brung him.”

  2. I just have a feeling that after waiting so long to become a head coach, Strong has a need to prove that he can succeed based upon his own talents and abilities. In going back to Florida any short term success will be attributable in part to the efforts of Urban Meyer. Any success he has at Louisville will be all his and go a long way in establishing his coaching identity.

  3. Is it time to start sending emails to Strong urging him to stay?

Louisville’s bowl game is in Florida…hope Strong doesn’t go there sooner or stay later in order to have a meeting in Gainesville!

    1. Oh yes, if you haven’t sent him an email by now, PLEASE do. Tom and I did – it can’t hurt to let him know we appreciate what he is doing at U of L and we want him to stay……I hope his server shuts down from all the fans emailing him. Sure can’t hurt. Go CARDS! Stay STRONG!

  4. I’m a Gator, but I hope he stays. Defense-oriented head coaches have never really worked at Florida, and that whole “perfect fit” thing seems pretty true.

I don’t think he’ll run out on his first job after waiting so long to get one.
