Wow. The observer can breathe again, hopefully with the site up forever. Been down for a couple of days, with numbies in Russia and the Ukraine apparently having nothing better to do than to deny Card Game visitors access to this site.

Pinging the server in Utah at a rate of 2,000 hits per second, taking us out of commission Hey loonies, this site has no relationship whatsoever with Wiki-Leaks, pro or con. True patriot here. Go pick on someone else.

It has been a long two days. Thanks for your patience, guys. Back to work.

  1. Thanks again to everybody. As you have probably surmised, this site is as much a part of my being as my love for everything UofL and the great fans who follow the school. I really appreciate your persistence and support.

  2. Welcome back, Observer. Was beginning to think that you & Steve had popped in the Volvo and headed to Santa Barbara. We were ready to send the intern chimps over to UofL Card game headquarters and apply banana oil to everything…

  3. I was beginning to think you were really Julian Assange, using an alias and your arrest put an end to Cardgame. Phew. Welcome back, Charlie! Tough two days for us too.

  4. Glad of it, I was wondering what was going on-I kept trying and trying but could not get your site. Go Cards! Keep Charlie Strong

  5. Let me echo the happiness that CardGame is back up…your blog is a staple of my day, missed your commentary for the last 48+… Merry Christmas Charlie!

  6. Glad you’re back up. Also glad that the problem turns out not to be that my internet connection had become anti-UofL Card Game! (I was beginning to get paranoid).

  7. The Observer isn’t the only one who can breathe again. You all have NO IDEA what it’s like living with an avid blogger whose raison d’etre has been denied him. It has indeed been a loooooong two days! GO CARDS!
