willow

The ice storm brought this once proud 70-foot Weeping Willow to its knees, along with a Birch tree, on the perimeter of Card Game headquarters, making football signing day more of a challenge than usual. Actually pretty hectic without Internet and telephone service for a while. No sweat. There’s an abundance of other local sites covering recruiting. The observer will be on hand for the signing party, come hell or high water.

  1. Thanks, Wilkie, but we will still have loads of shade from over a dozen still standing. Lots of leaves in the fall and, the Observer’s fave, lots and lots of squirrels. Go Cards!
