Notre Dame will be the program, and will give its current coach only one more year to make something happen. It won’t and they will come after Pitino.
I’ll venture that the next school wanting Pitino’s services will be Syracuse. Boeheim getting up there in years. But they’ll be disappointed, too, just like the rest of them.
