Some how, some way UConn has soared to the top of the college soccer standings, a place University of Louisville fans thought was reserved for their team this season.

Meanwhile, U of L has dropped all the way down to No. 11 in the Top Drawer Soccer ratings after one-point losses to Notre Dame and Ohio State.

Got some ground to make up, quickly. Toppling No. 1 would help immensely.

They’ll square off at 7 p.m. Saturday at Cardinal Park, less than three minutes by foot from Papa John’s after the UofL-Marshall football game.

  1. You’re moving at a pretty good clip, Observer, if you can hoof it to Cardinal Park from PJCS in under three minutes. Might want to consider going out for the UofL track team. But, Cardinal fans should consider heading over at UofL beats Marshall. Beats sitting in the Green Lot and idling in your ride.
