All Clear For Louisville Baseball

Let There Be Baseball

If you were perchance wondering if the playing surface at Jim Patterson Stadium is still covered with snow, you can relax. The grounds crew has cleared the field, making JPS the largest patch of green in the city.

The University of Louisville opens the 2010 college baseball season Friday at 2 p.m. against Bowling Green University in the first game of a three-game series. The weather forecast for opening day is partially sunny, and the temperature is expected to be a balmy 38 degrees. Not bad for February.
