If this female ever asks you for the time of day, run in the opposite direction as fast and far as your skinny legs can carry you. According to several local media sources, she is Karen Sypher, the estranged wife of University of Louisville equipment manager Tim Sypher, and she is alleged to have attempted to extort money from Rick Pitino. Tim has been equipment manager since Pitino arrived, and doesn’t deserve the embarrassment. Run.

Baseball Cards Sweep — Andrew Clark singled to drive Josh Richmond home from second base in the top of the 14th inning to give Louisville a 4-3 win over Rutgers and a three-game sweep. The Cards won 6-1 Friday and 7-4 Saturday. They travel to Bloomington for a return game against Indiana on Tuesday.
While I do agree a little with Jim on this, Ms. Sypher should have kept her mouth shut and let her attorney do all her talking. She keeps saying the truth will come out. If it does, she’ll probably end up in a federal jail cell. If I was her, I wouldn’t want that.
Jim, she has been on a couple of news segments already while Pitino has relied on the FBI. She is no shrinking violet and has already had more than her share of exposure, no pun intended.
Karen Sypher deserves the same reserved treatment as Rick Pitino has and the reason why she hasn’t is because shes not the U of L basketball coach.
I don’t know about the media and don’t really care. Thus far, nothing has been made public. I do know that every person, whether a celebrity or not, should receive the reserved treatment Rick Pitino has received thus far.
