What was most impressive about the record crowd at the University of Louisville’s Kickoff Luncheon was not the number of people attending, 1,400 of them, but the speed at which the event was sold out. Less than two weeks after the mailings, all the tickets had been snapped up. If one took his time sending in the money, one was out of luck — unless a friend would call with tickets the day of the event. Thanks, Joe.[/stextbox]

  1. I missed out on tickets because they sold out so fast. I won’t be caught short next year.

  2. I agree with you both why not have a bigger venue only to be sold out again? GO CARDS destroy the kittens!

  3. I AGREE Charlie! Our company would have bought a table of 8 but we were on the waiting list and never got a call that there was a table available. I also got lucky and was asked to attend as a guest. Why have this event that only holds 1400 people. I hope they have it at larger facility next year. The fans are definitely CARDINAL STRONG! GO CARDS! Beat the kittie-kats!!!!

    1. How about the Commonwealth Convention Center … No, wait, take it to the KFC Yum Center, accommodate 1,800 fans next year. Hard to beat the Marriott for food, quality steaks, amazing.
