The Major League Baseball draft will begin Thursday. University of Louisville baseball fans may want to keep an eye on some key players who have committed to UofL for the 2015 class, according to Prep Baseball Report:

Four of the top 10 players in PBR’s Overall Rankings are committed to Louisville and there are eight in the Top 100 currently committed there. That class figures to come down a notch depending on how the draft pans out. I can see players like RHPs Bryan Hoeing (Batesville Indiana), Noah Burkholder (Crown Point Indiana), Riley Thompson (Christian Academy, Louisville) and Sam Bordner (Bloom Carroll, Ohio) all potentially being high enough draft guys that they sign rather than go to school.

If players decide to forego signing after high school, they are required to wait three years before entering the MLB draft again.
