The University of Louisville and Indiana baseball teams will begin their respective journeys in the NCAA tournament Saturday, with the first pitch scheduled for 8 p.m. Oregon State and Kansas State will meet earlier at 3 p.m.

Sunday will include the winner of the No. 1 national seed North Carolina/South Carolina Super Regional vs. North Carolina State at 3 p.m., and No. 4 national seed LSU squaring off against UCLA at 8 p.m. (CT).

The losers of Saturday’s games will play at 3 p.m. on Monday, while Saturday’s winners face off at 8 p.m. Monday. The losers of Sunday’s games will meet at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, while Sunday’s winners go Tuesday at 8 p.m.

  1. Charlie you must really dislike the womens bball team. First the harsh rip on the women’s bball team after their blowout loss to Uconn in national championship. now posting cardvader82’s pic with Walz replaced by a cardinal.

    1. Just using an existing photo. I noticed Walz was missing but I’m not about to mess with someone else’s art. Our family buys season tickets and makes an extra donation to women’s basketball. We’ve love women’s basketball. Don’t make it a women’s thing on me please.

As co-owner of CARDINAL COUPLE and huge UofL women’s sports fan, I can tell you that both Charlie and his wife Barbara are HUGE UofL women’s basketball fans and no Johnny-Come-Lately’s to the sport either. Some of the best photography work we’ve had at Cardinal Couple for SEVERAL women’s athletic teams have come from the monolithic camera the Observer totes around with him. Charlie was Lady Cards when Lady Cards weren’t cool.
