Pick Brian Brohm First Round

The NFL scouts aren’t very good at their craft if Brian Brohm is not picked in the first round this weekend. That’s putting it nicely.  It would be more accurate to say there are a bunch of idiots running the show if he is not selected before the second round.

Any college coach that has competed against the University of Louisville in the last four years can attest to his quarterbacking skills. Give Brohm an open target, he’ll hit it 99% of the time. He understands the game, having prepared for a professional football career his entire life.

Frankly, one has to wonder whether the professional pickers have intentionally not been showing all their cards, with Brohm going from a predicted No. 1 pick last season to who knows where this year. That makes no sense. If anything, his value should have improved dramatically last season.

Tipping your hand too early is never good strategy in business or sports. Not picking Brohm would be bad business. Want a winner, pick a winner. The prediction here is that he winds up with the Chicago Bears.
