Wednesday is the big day for the winners of tickets for the Maker’s Mark Charlie Strong bottle signing.

The event will be at the Mellwood Arts & Event Center, 1860 Mellwood Avenue, the site of the old Fischer’s Packing Company, from 5 to 7 p.m. Tickets for the signing can be picked up at 4:30 at the Will Call window at the Mellwood Center.*

Cigaridors, a new store in the center, plans to donate 50% of the store’s profits that night to the University of Louisville. The store’s selection includes more than 600 premium brand cigars, including such familiar names as Rocky Patel, Ashton and Fuente.

The store is operated by Louisville fan Mark Rogers. His son, Chad, will be a sophomore at U of L this fall.

*Please note that’s the Will Call window at the Mellwood Center, not the UofL Ticket Office.

  1. Charlie,
Thanks for the post, and I wanted to let folks know that we decided to make the 50% to U of L for the rest of the week. We are only carrying a portion of our supply so if we don’t have it they can order it and we will include the 50%. Go Cards!!

  2. On the email I received from UofL Event Registration, it states that you should will-call your ticket for the bottle signing at the Arts Center beginning at 4:30PM. There is no mention that you should or could pick up tickets at the UofL ticket office per your posting.
