Academic issues often surface when conference realignment is discussed. So keep this in mind.

The upward trajectory continues at the University of Louisville, President Jim Ramsey announcing this week that UofL has at least seven Fulbright Scholars in the latest class. Two other students are awaiting final word on scholarships.

That’s a total of 75 since 2003, more than all colleges and universities combined in Kentucky — and probably several other nearby state as well.
