Is there such a thing as aggravated assault in baseball?

You made it two more innings than I did last night, Mom. Despite the black eye, let's take the high road here and look at a few things that may be to our advantage today...-Justin Marks takes the mound for Louisville today. The stronger hurler is 11-2 on the year and is the ace of the Cardinal staff.-With the bashing of the Louisville boys, it doesn't take much thinking to surmise that the Titans will be way overconfident going into today's game. Same thing happened to Louisville in the previous regional, and Vandy forced a Monday night game. Back against the wall time.-Dan McDonnell is a master motivator. He'll have the guys pumped up and ready to avoid elimination today. Remembering the past, he can point to how the Cards have come back from almost extinction to beat USF to win the title.-These bats surely can't continue to stay dormant two days in a row. Time for Mingo, A.C., Phil and crew to put the aluminum to Mr. Spalding. It's "go" time for the baseball Cards. Shake off the loss and start anew.

It was a game that most of us would like to forget, but we can only hope that the painful thumping that Cal State Fullerton put on us last night will serve as motivation to settle the score today in game two of the Super Regional.
