Game 100 at Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium. My, how the time flies.

The University of Louisville football team is celebrating the milestone in red.

That means fans are encouraged to match the players by wearing all red for the homecoming game against Central Florida at 8 p.m. Friday.

Louisville senior defensive end Lorenzo Mauldin made the announcement via video message to fans on Monday afternoon, igniting the #WearRED social media campaign.

Another sell out, this time a sea of red.

  1. On his weekly TV program, Coach Strong stated that he thought everyone would be getting pom poms this week (like the towels last week). Expecting the pom poms to be red, I say bring your towels along and wave them both for quite an effect for the TV cameras.

Let’s hope the promotions people don’t get carried away and order black vuvuzelas for Houston.
