Almost every time! And one reason is in Anderson and Ashley we have 185 pound backs. Rutgers listed 14 WRs and ll of them weigh between 185 and 230. Remember the Baby Bush, Anthony Allen, who is averaging 9 yards a carry for Georgia Tech? This kid has speed (several 50 yards plus carries) and size (235 pounds). I think it's safe to say he would have converted a lot of those short yardage opportunities. Instead we fail to convert and bang up our undersized backs. And why did he transfer? He was told Kragthorpe's system doesn't want big backs. He prefers the scat back type. That may have worked at Tulsa but it sure isn't working playing against the BCS schools. Kragthorpe's personality, recruiting ability, and schemes have floundered against real competition. He is over his head and destroying what Smith and Petrino built.
