Louisville Football v KentuckyFor the second time this season, University of Louisville junior safety Calvin Pryor named the American Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week.

Pryor was credited with a career-high 14 tackles and an interception in Louisville’s dominating 24-10 win over Rutgers last Thursday night at Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium.

The Port St. Joe, Fla., native was all over the field as the Cardinals limited the Scarlet Knights to 12 yards rushing and 240 yards of total offense to remain one of the 14 undefeated teams in the nation.

Pryor recorded his sixth career interception of the year in the win over Rutgers.
