Notre Dame arrives at Jim Patterson Stadium Thursday for the first of a three-game series which will determine whether the University of Louisville makes the cut for the Big East baseball tournament at Clearwater, Fla.

After losing two of three at UConn, U of L (12-12) is seventh as the regular season draws to an end. The Cards are a half game behind the Irish. However, Dan McDonnell’s team is only one game in front of Seton Hall and South Florida.
