Season ticket sales for University of Louisville football continued to reach new highs this year, with a total of 45,627 for the seven-game home schedule.
All 55,000 tickets for Sunday’s game against Ohio University are gone despite temperatures expected to hover in the mid-90’s. Thankfully the shade from the press box will finally reach our seats for the 3:30 kickoff.
Last year’s season ticket sales total was 43, 510.
Incredible. Expansion needs to be in the works. At least 70,000 would be ideal.

Defensive end Lorrenzo Mauldin was released from Jewish Hospital on Wednesday morning after all of tests and evaluations deemed as positive. He has no serious orthopedic injuries and his game status will be evaluated.
If it’s up to Mauldin, he will play Sunday.
