Garrack McGeeGarrack McGee was introduced Monday as the new offensive coordinator for the University of Louisville football program, eager to become a part of Bobby Petrino’s staff.

So eager he left the head coaching job at the University of Alabama-Birmingham to return to being an assistant coach with the coach he served under in the same position at Arkansas from 2007 to 2009.

The only question he said he asked Petrino was whether they would have a chance to win a national championship at Louisville. McGee got the answer he wanted to hear so he started packing his bags.

Such is the nomadic nature of the coaching fraternity.
