National academic award for Russ

Russ Smith has been honored with a 2013 Academic Momentum Award, as presented by the National Consortium for Academics and Sports and the Scholar Baller program.

Smith is one of 63 male and female student-athletes nationally representing 15 different sports to receive the honor, which is based on the level of academic improvement and the impact of that academic momentum.
