The University of Louisville football players are scheduled to arrive on campus Sunday, report to the football facility Monday and the first practice is set for Tuesday.

The beginning of the 2013 season can’t get here soon enough for Cardinal fans who have been going through a slow, agonizing withdrawal from UofL sports over the summer months.

Assuming Charlie Strong opens a couple of practices, all eyes will be peeled laser-beam like, for Michael Dyer when the team enters the practice field. No one is affirming or denying anything, and that’s exactly how the UofL coach is orchestrating the appearance or no-show of a highly-anticipated player.

No special attention is needed or wanted for Michael Dyer, as far Strong is concerned. Just another player but he will be among many keeping a close eye on Dyer if does show.

  1. The “stars” are aligning! Unlike 2006, can enough remain healthy to fulfill Howard’s prediction?
