Update: McCoughtry led all scorers with 18 points and was credited with five rebounds and three steals in Atlanta’s 84-79 win in the opening game.

One of the winners of the WNBA’s Peak Performer Award, McCoughtry will lead the Atlanta Dream into a best-of-three East Playoffs series Thursday against the Indiana Fever, which captured the WNBA championship last season.
The game will be televised on ESPN2 at 7 p.m.
McCoughtry, the former University of Louisville great, led the league in scoring during the regular season with 21.5 points per game. The fifth-year veteran also ranked second in the league in steals (2.7), was sixth in assists (4.4) and 22nd in rebounding (5.3).
