University of Louisville athletic teams won 10 Big East Championships during the 2011-12 academic year, including five regular season titles and five post-season tournament honors.

Regular season titles – Baseball, football, women’s soccer, women’s softball, and women’s volleyball. UofL tied for first with St. John’s in baseball, and with Cincinnati and West Virginia in football.

Post-season honors – Men’s basketball, women’s softball, women’s track and field, and women’s swimming and diving.

Overall standings:

Since joining the league during the 2004-05 season, Louisville has won 50 Big East championships, second only to Notre Dame with 64. UConn, Syracuse and West Virginia are next in line with 36, 21 and 14, respectively.
