The first 250 fans to purchase season tickets to University of Louisville soccer will also receive the UofL neck scarf similar to the one commissioned by head coach Ken Lolla for his personal use last season and enthusiastically displayed by assistant coach Mario Sanchez during the recent Cardinal Caravan in Shelbyville.

The home season begins Aug. 20 with an exhibition match against the University of Michigan. The first regular season match is against UCLA on August. 27 at Cardinal Park. U of L defeated UCLA 5-4 in the regional final here last season to get to the Final Four and the College Cup.

Season ticket packages are priced at $45 each for adults, $25 for youth between three and 18 years old, or $120 for a family of four. Ticket office is 852-5151.

U of L athletic Tom Jurich confirmed during the Cardinal Caravan that a new soccer stadium will be constructed in the near future on acreage just across from Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium.
