The Cardinals swept three from UConn over the weekend while the Buckeyes, 25-19, were winning two of three games at Purdue.

UofL sophomore Danny Rosenbaum was selected as the American Conference Player of the Week after hitting .778,  with a home run, two doubles, five RBI, and four runs scored in four starts last week.

Baseball America currently has UofL ranked 13th nationally. AAC members Houston and Central Florida are ranked 16th and 23rd, respectively.

UCF currently resides atop the conference standings with a 15-3 league record, compared to UofL’s 10-4 mark. Louisville has nine conference games remaining, Central Florida has six more.
