Add JaQuan Lyle to the University of Louisville’s 2014 class.
Five-star JaQuan Lyle. Chose UofL over Florida, Tennessee and Indiana.
The 6-foot-4 combo guard averaged 27 points, 13 rebounds and 6.7 assists per game as a junior at Evansville Bosse High School.
Told ESPN a recent unofficial visit to Louisville sealed his decision.
“We clicked a lot, but that last visit when my mom went … (Rick Pitino) clicked with me and clicked with my mom,” Lyle said. “When I got back to the hotel I knew, my mom knew and she asked me when I wanted to get it over with.
“I’m kind of a combo guard and sometimes the 3,” Lyle said. “I’ll be doing a lot for them from bringing the ball up the court to playing on the wing. I’ll do whatever coach Pitino needs me to do.”
He joins fellow commits Quentin Snider, a point guard, and Shaqquan Aaron, a small forward, in an already outstanding recruiting class.
