Coming soon. Surely.

Back in July, Northwestern Mutual held a news conference to reveal that it would be announcing the logistics by the end of summer for making sections of the NCAA Basketball Championship court available for purchase by University of Louisville fans. No word yet.

Now fall doesn’t officially arrive until Sept. 22 so Northwestern Mutual still has a few weeks to announce how that’s going to happen.

If a former PR person could offer some friendly advice, it would be for the company to wait until after the football season gets under way. UofL happens to have a pretty good football team this year, competing for national honors if everything goes just right.

The last thing anyone wants is for UofL fans to be going gah-gah over basketball with football getting under way.
